San Francisco Correspondent

Rafe Uddin is a reporter based in the FT's San Francisco bureau covering Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, the gig economy and enterprise providers including Oracle and Salesforce.

Prior to moving to the West Coast, he covered financial markets, retail investment and spent a stint on the newspaper's UK politics team where he helped cover a general election. He was shortlisted for the 2024 British Journalism Awards.
